questionswhich of these pet photos is funniest?

My vote is for #1, it is the most over the top silliest. Such a handsome pup, I always enjoy seeing pics of him.

vote-for8vote-against

Either #2 or #3.

#2 is funnier because of the down-the-step pose ("My bed is softer, but the floor is cooler!") , but #3 may be the better choice since the location is brighter and the tangle of legs (wait -- where's the other one?) is cute.

EDIT: I just re-reviewed them. #1 might be even funnier, given the broken-back position and the calm look he's giving you.

Here's a vote for #3. I wish I could be that relaxed, too!

vote-for7vote-against

I vote for #1. That ear flop thing is ridiculously cute!

vote-for10vote-against

The third made me grin! Second place is the first pic. Simba could give lessons in relaxing.

vote-for5vote-against

#2
Like the overall composition of the photo best.

vote-for7vote-against

# 3 has my vote.
He looks very relaxed, comfy and cozy. Not a care in the world.

You could post some of his funny antics here : http://www.dogshaming.com/

vote-for7vote-against

#3 is the greatest of all.

#1 has the poor lighting and it's not that funny of a pose cuz lots of pets do that. (plus you can see his bathing suit parts...yucky!)
#2 looks like he's in a scary basement and doesn't appear to be sleeping

vote-for6vote-against

I have to vote for #3, too. He actually seems to be sleeping in that position!

(Although I do love the adorable ear flop thingie on #1.)

vote-for8vote-against

My vote is for Scooby Doo #3.

vote-for7vote-against

Okay, so #3 won. If you'd like to support Simba in his quest to win a new pet bed, please go give us an "admire" on this link. If we should happen to win it's unlikely that the bed they are giving away is big enough for my lummox, in which case I will get it monogrammed with Paws for Love (the pet therapy group we volunteer with) and donate it to a shelter pet.

Vote #4 here. Good luck! Let us know how this turns out.

Hey @moondrake: I got a bonus of 35% off on one of the pet beds. Does everyone who votes get one these? I'd like to think I'm "special," but I'm pretty sure that I'm not. :)

vote-for8vote-against

@barnabee: Yes, sorry, I forgot to mention that. Everyone who votes gets a 35% off coupon. But you are still definitely special!

vote-for6vote-against

@bsmith1: It is a scary basement, it's the haunted basement room where we game and I store my art supplies. I finally had to relent and pull his bed out of that little hallway into the main room as he stopped fitting in there. He's only about 7 months old in the first picture and maybe 18mos old in the second, Giant breeds grow till they are 2-2.5 years old, so he is still just a puppling in those two pics. The third one was taken in the last few months, you can see the grey on his muzzle.

vote-for6vote-against

@moondrake: He sure is going to be a big boy.

vote-for7vote-against

@computiac: He's all grown up now. 37" at the shoulder, 6'2" on his back legs. In the upper 25% for size on a male Great Dane. He's the tallest dane in town, and we have a lot of danes here as we have a regional dane rescue. Not too heavy, though, weighing in at only 140lbs. We've met much shorter eurodanes that tip the scales at over 200lbs. Simba's slim and has long legs.

vote-for7vote-against

@moondrake: Well hecky darn, I kinda figgered that everyone who votes would be "special." I guess I'll just go back to being ordinary ol' barnabee. But thanks for trying to bolster my spirits!

vote-for8vote-against

I can't decide whether #3 should be named "Boneless dog" or "Pretzel dog".

vote-for3vote-against

@moondrake: : : : eying The Mighty Simba's measurements : : :

HOLY CARP!

vote-for4vote-against

@moondrake: done -- even though my top pick wasn't the entry. I still like the creepy basement one best : )

vote-for6vote-against

@ceagee: blush

@moondrake: Wow, a couple of the pix have 145 votes. We're gonna have to figure out a way we can all vote 20 times each. :)

vote-for5vote-against

Well, I voted, and SHARED it to my FB page. I will get my daughter to vote, as well. Maybe we can get the votes up!

You can also sign up with multiple email accounts, if you have them.
Then vote with each account.

If we could only get our spammers to vote...

vote-for6vote-against

@barnabee: Not a bad idea. We could offer them one free spam post for every 10 votes they can prove they made.

vote-for4vote-against

Thanks so much for your sport, guys. You are the best!

vote-for4vote-against

Simba ended up getting 18 votes, which is not at all shabby. Thanks, guys!

@magic cave; @pickypickypicky; @hot72chev; @faughtey; @pattiq; @ceagee; @computiac; @bssmith; @belyndag; @barnabee: Here is the winner. http://www.snapyeti.com/snaps/11894 Who can beat a sick and suffering puppy? Who wants to? Not my Simba. Congratulations to Mason.

vote-for6vote-against

I think we all know that Simba is a big winner too!

vote-for3vote-against

@moondrake:
Thank's for the up-date.
Simba is the greatest but, you already know it.

vote-for2vote-against

@moondrake: Maybe you should have posted that Simba is battling insomnia and could really use a new bed.

Edit: Looking at that picture again. You better make that narcolepsy.
