Who do you think was the greatest Beatle?
I have to admit, I always thought George Harrison wrote very good music.
John.
Lock it up.
The whole was SO much better than the parts.
@morriea: You think?
My Sweet Lord- George
Imagine- John
Band on the Run- Paul
Ringo-???
John was the greatest Beatle, although he needed Paul (and the others to some degree) to reign him in and produce the perfect signature Beatles sound. Like a lot of the best bands, they played to each others strengths and filled in each others' weaknesses.
My choice would be Volks Wagen. ;->
I always liked Bailey...
George
Clarence Walker
I always loved John & his solo work. Then as I got older I grew to have a huge appreciation for George. I saw Paul at the Orange Bowl somewhere between 1989-1990, had 10th row tix and thought he was amazing. Never saw Ringo and I've never followed his solo work. But as a whole, they were awesome.
They had come and gone as a group before I was born but once I was introduced, they have always been a favorite of mine.
It was Paul, at least until he died.
George Harrison
I assumed from your question that one of them had died. Usually that's when people ask questions like this.
Personally I liked the group better than any of them as individuals, like Morriea said.
I'll know when there is only one left. That one, will be the greatest.
