Do you think free deals should get their own seperate tab?
Looking at the top deals at the moment, I notice that three of those are free offers. (Redbox Movie Rental for $0, Waffle House Restaurant for $0, Tom's of Maine Toothpaste for $0 + free shipping) With all the free samples on the web, and an increasing amount of thrifty Wooters posting them I think it's only logical we separate these on their own tab alongside "top" and "fresh" deals.
In my view, this would serve two purposes:
1. Allow for easier searching of freebies. (No more typing in "free" in the search box and clicking enter)
2. Make it easier to throw away money on the deals that actually cost money.
What do you guys think? Does anyone believe otherwise, or have better reasons than mine as to why freebies should be separated? (Mines didn't translate very well in writing)
I don't think a separate tab would be any more useful for free deals than it would any other category of deal. There are probably more tshirt or dvd/blu-ray deals than freebies anyway.
Besides, the more tabs you have, the more tabs you have to check. They would also still duplicate in the fresh and popular sections.
Yes, I think it would be wonderful =)
