How far did you fall in rankings following vacation?

We go on vacation and do not check deals.woot as much as we would during a normal workday so it is same to assume your rep will drop. How long were you gone and how far did your rep fall?

actually, mine went up. i got to stay home for the first time in years and didn't have "stuff" that had to get done.

I still haven't recovered from the day I went from 94 to 61. Moving to Japan and not getting setup for a couple days didn't help either.

I think reputation is somewhat simultaneously and collectively dependent on everyone else's activity. So if everyone is really busy, things should stay roughly the same...mine was relatively stable.

I didn't travel anywhere. I visited everyday, posted some awesome deals, answered questions, voted for deals and did everything the leaderboard suggested I do to get my score up and all I did was fall.

@mkentosh: I have been posting some really popular deals lately, 2 or 3 front page deals with 30 or more up votes, been voting on questions and deals, upvoting comments, posting comments, questions, and answers, and have been on here every day, and my rating has fallen 3 points all the while. The system really confuses me to be quite honest...

@jml879: Confusing isn't the word I would use, but it does get the point across. The most 'confusing' for me was went I went from #10 ranking to #29 in 1/2 hour! 30 minutes, no kidding! Wasn't doing anything different...just plummeted. Can't believe that all those in between suddenly boosted their reps in 1/2 hour also. Nope. Also, I took into consideration that some categories have a lapse time of 24 to 48 hours. Not the 1st time something similar has happened to me. Won't be the last either.

As I've said before, when it is no longer enjoyable or fun to be a part of deals, then that's the time to leave. Still fun for me so far. :-)

@gmwhit: I saw a similar drop of mine, oly i was ranked around 56, and dropped over the past few days to nearly 200th. It is befuddling to say the least how I keep my activity the same as it has been, even in some areas being more active and I drop that much...

I dropped a hundred or so over the last week+, haven't been as active. There's definitely a 24 or so hour delay on certain things though. I only really get worried when my awesomeness gets low though.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
