Only for the insecure. Sneezing and spraying mucus on the people around you is probably much more embarrassing.

However, I'm curious: Are you trying to lower your reputation? You may not realize it, but that is effectively what you are doing, unless every one of the many questions you've posted goes popular. (You have to divide any postitive effect on your reputation by the number of questions you've posted. Whatever positive you've gotten is going to be spread so thin as to not matter and likely will have a negative effect.)

I screwed up a tile last week and got flamed for it. You could tell what I was trying to ask, but the trolls had their go at it.

I'm pretty sure I can think of many, many things much more embarrassing than that.

When I screw up I just say I'm drunk.....Everyone else goes, "man I wish I was drunk right now" and I'm "in the clear", or is it "Good to Go!"

Yes, having it re-tweeted by 10,000 people. :)

@zarfus: You caught "mispelled" but no mention of "embarassing" or "somethnig"?

I think it's more embarrassing to post a comment that took a while to write and then realize that the guy above you posted essentially the same thing while you were typing.
