- haven't paid for cable/satellite since before having kids (8 years)
- take every soap, shampoo, lotion, pen, etc. that isn't bolted down before checking out of a hotel room
... all the gifts I give come only from Woot BOCs.
...feed my family only foods found on Deals or Woot (good thing they love bacon).
... am trying to start a new Holiday all for a total of $1.07
... eat nothing but beans in the winter to save on heating bills.
...pick an arbitrary (yet usually absurdly high) percent-off that an item I've been eyeing must be before I will buy it
...have a bottle of Skol vodka in my freezer. (yep, $11.99 per 1.75L)
...am considering a trip down to The Big Easy because I hear they're doing great deals these days.

...won't let my boyfriend buy me anything full price because I work for a deal site and... wait... that makes me awesome, not cheap.

I also use my buy 10 get the 11th free card for coffee at my local coffee shop. I realize some might thing that is being spendy, but I don't make coffee at home, that would be wasting a whole pot.
@lavikinga: not really. Going to the local coffee shop gives me an excuse to socialize. Otherwise I would be a hermit.

Being from the New Orleans area I can tell you this:
Come on down! Enjoy the sights and the food. Yes, even seafood. Only half of our fishing areas have been destroyed.... :(
I recommend taking a walking Ghost tour around the French Quarter while you are here.
Warning: Right now (in the summer) it is %$#@ing HOT. I mean so hot and humid, you can't breathe. This is why I recommend the Ghost Tour, it's at night and heat is not so bad.
But seriously.... Come on down!
I'm so cheap I use 10 gallons of gas to save 5 bucks on my next fill-up.
...that I wear my underwear inside out to get a few extra days out of them.
...that I rinse out my condoms and hang them out to dry so I can reuse 'em.
If steamboat rides were only five cents all I could do is run up and down the riverbank yelling "that's cheap, that's cheap".

I buy nothing new. OK, except for food and underwear. I draw the line at buying used skivies. yuck.
I avoid running appliances until after 6pm so that I do not have to pay the more expensive electricity rates. Dishwasher is run after 10pm and clothes are never run before 6pm, unless it is a week-end!
...I bought a clipper set at rite-aid to save on hair cuts.
I also buy reversible athletic shorts; its a 2 for 1!
... I buy 3-ply toilet paper and make my kids separate the plys onto old empty rolls.
... live in the rust belt so I don't have to pay much for real estate.

I'm so cheap when i want to wash my hands I wet them first then rub the sides of the dishsoap bottle. Always some runny soap on the sides of the bottle. lol
