I too have noticed a lot of strange happenings with deals.woot lately. I don't see why your deal would have been deleted. Is it possible it was a dupe? Hopefully a staff member can clear things up if you are certain it wasn't a dupe...

Edit: I also think this is a job for the Meta tag; not the Chat tag.

@cowboydann: Pretty sure it wasn't a dupe, I got emails from people who commented that the code worked and they hadn't seen the deal before. I was getting really excited cause last I checked it got the most upvotes I had ever gotten. Now since it does not exist, I guess it does not count towards my stats.

This isn't the deal I saw earlier today... If you are who I think you are @wisenekt you added an exclamation point to the end of your coupon code causing a little bit of confusion. If that's the case I think your deal was deleted because it looks like it was indeed a dupe.

@cowboydann: I did have the exclamation point in there and did not have a chance to tattle on myself to get it fixed before the deal was gone. The deal was for 10% off iPods from newegg.com so it could have been flagged as a duplicate. It would have been nice to know that instead of the deal just disappearing. It would also be nice if there was a better search option on deals.woot since the day old deal did not show up in a search or was it flagged as a possible duplicate.

@wisenekt: Yeah there is plenty of room for improvement on deals.woot small things here and there. I'm still content with this place though. If a deal is a dupe they just delete it though.
