How's the weather?

Between blizzard and tornado warnings, it's a weather adventure out there. How is it where you are?

Our local schools uncharacteristically announced last night that they'd be closed today. We've got about six inches of snow so far, and it's supposed to get very bad, with high winds, later on today. Not looking forward to the drive home.

How's everyone else?

Rainy, cold, aka normal. Theoretical Snow in parts of town earlier this week, though.

44, mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of rain. Our local power company is warning we may have outages in the next few days due to heavy winds and rain. Yay holidays!

Honolulu weather: high of 78, low of 70. Absolutely perfect!

i'm in LA.

it's ridiculously cold. RIDICULOUSLY.

...sometimes in the morning when i'm walking around outside, i have to check if i'm still breathing because i can't quite be certain if my breath has stopped or my hands have lost their ability to feel anything. i wonder if i'm alive atm.

Raining again today, and getting colder. It was really nice yesterday, so I shouldn't complain. Going to get really cold tomorrow: Friday PM run will be interesting.

Windy, cool and damp so far. The snow is supposed to blow in sometime Friday last I heard. I got my studded snow tires put on this morning.

We have been very lucky so far. Warmer than normal and not enough snow to count. A few cold days recently has been reminding us it is December.

Currently 79 outside of my home in central Florida. Nasty cold front arriving tomorrow. High around 60, low 36. I will, no doubt, turn into an ice cube. :-( Will warm back up next week. :-)

Horrible winds and blowing snow yesterday. Dropped to .7 degrees last night (yes, that's a decimal). Today it is sunny and 28.

School was out for us today as well. We got between 6-8 inches of snow, but it's really windy and cold. There are several people in the area without power and interstates were closed down for quite awhile.

@gmwhit: Yep. Ain't that a kick? We had 79 today, looking for a low tonight of 41 and a high tomorrow of 57. Then a low of 32 and a high of 58. Seriously weird.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
