questionsanyone know of any good alien, apocalypse, or…

I imagine you've seen each of the following, but why the heck not:

Alien: District 9
Apocalypse: Children of Men...also, Wall-E (jk)
Horror: The Devil's Backbone

Aliens is always a good start when looking for a good "Alien" movie!

The Alien Anthology is listed on here quite often. Looks like it's about $27 on the Amazon UK site right now.
Note: It's $40 on the US side right now...

Well, you are in my wheelhouse, but what room do you want? Action? Gore? Or great storytelling? Looking for some more obscure stuff in the good storytelling section. Since you are wanting stuff you haven't seen, I'll include some foreign stuff.

The Orphanage and
Pan's Labyrinth. They are both subtitled films but Guillermo del Toro is a master storyteller worth the trouble of the subtitles.
Pumpkinhead is a B grade horror movie but I felt it had an excellent story.
What Lies Beneath has some good horror tropes.

The Legend of Hell House is an oldie but still scares the crap out of people I show it to.
The original "House on Haunted Hill* is also a classic.

Solaris was an interesting sci-fi psychodrama. I think it's available in English, I saw in Russian with English subtitles.
The Host is a fun Korean monster movie with some unexpected twists.
Pitch Black You've probably seen it but if you haven't you should.
Skyline had a weak ending but I enjoyed the film

Horror Sci-Fi:
From Beyond is kind of hokey but it has some intriguing ideas and memorable lines.
The Faculty is funny with some good action bits

Comedy Horror:
Night of the Comet. If you liked Zombieland, you have to see this.
Sean of the Dead if you enjoy British humor.
They Live is a must see, along with
Repo Man

Apocalypse (I am including dystopic futures)
Mad Max and Road Warrior you have probably seen
Damnation Alley is a golden oldie
Book of Eli fell flat with me but others liked it
A Boy and his Dog Good luck finding it.
Equilibrium Awesome gun-fu
On the Beach. Seriously scared me as a kid, still haunts me.
The Blood of Heroes. Good luck finding it.
The Road. I have this one but it's supposed to be very depressing so I haven't watched it yet.
Children of Men, a first-rate story
Grave of the Fireflies, an unforgettable anime movie
Silent Running, contemplative and sad.

I have pretty much all these films on one format or another.

Aliens, Road Warrior, and Evil Dead.

I actually haven't seen a few of these movies. I'll have to check them out. I'm into everything from B movie horror to gore movies. I like alien movies like skyline and I am number 4. Apocalypse would probably be more of the zombie thing but I would be intrigued by another take on the apocalypse.

The Cabin in the Woods.
Writers: Joss Whedon, Drew Goddard

Melancholia - it's an apocalyptic movie and not really at the same time. A gorgeous film, though you'd have to be in the mood for something more than just the dramatic explosions.

Didn't we do this question a few months ago?

Alien movie: The Thing (1982)
Apocalypse: Dawn of the Dead (1978)
Horror: The Shining

If you want to see a B movie apocalyptic classic, get a copy of Night of the Comet.

Edit: Doh! @moondrake beat me to it.

Scariest movie I ever saw: Yentl.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space

The Return of the Killer Klowns from Outer Space in 3D

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
Dark City (1998)
Soylent Green (1973)
Blade Runner (1982)
The Shining (1980)
Alien (1979)

Thanks for all the suggestions. There are lots of movies from this that I'm going to check out.
