This guy!
Getting the big box. Go big or go home.

Already pre-ordered, waiting for it to ship in 6 short weeks.

It's coming out just before my birthday so I can't wait. What a b-day present from Uncle George!

@heymo - That's just vote-grubbing. :P I didn't ask for an argument on whether you agreed with Uncle George's revision of the OT, I asked if you were getting it. Stay on target...

I am. Original trilogy only though.

I don't want to give Lucas any more of my money, but dang, OT on Blu Ray.... that is going to be tough to pass up.

@zomgrei: Yipe! How wude!

I'm not buying it precisely because "Uncle George" screwed up the movie with his "enhancements." And don't get me started on the prequels.

This question reminded me of a tidbit floating around Twitter, "Wow, Lucas has split up the Star Wars Blu Ray in to 2 separate trilogies. Better known as the Star Wars trilogy and 3 movies no one wants."

@xarous: LOL! Fair enough. However, I personally enjoyed the new trilogy on top of the OT (prefer OT by far). Might not be the best-acted or best-directed pieces of film, but they still have merit in my opinion.

Thanks for chiming in, though. Sad some people won't forgive ol' Uncle George.

Not worth the effort for me. I have yet to pick up a blu-ray player of my own, so they'd be pretty useless for a while, I'd imagine.

I am having a little party that weekend! I pre-ordered mine a long time ago on a website far far away....

I'm in. Just ordered today.

@trahentis: You know you can get a Blu-Ray player for less than the costs of the Star Wars Box set? It's not like they still cost $700 or even $300, I bought one last Christmas for $68 at Wal-Mart.

@jayg71: Yeah, but I'm apathetic enough to hold off until I get a computer with a blu-ray drive, at which point I'll be able to find the box set for cheaper, too.
