Well, I thought the lions had a chance. Maybe next year.

vote-for1vote-against

I can't help but be a Vikings fan because I grew up in Minneapolis. But, man... Some seasons are tougher than others.

vote-for1vote-against

Yes, in a manner of speaking. My favorite team is Whoever Is Playing The Cowboys. The Giants treated them like a new cell mate last Sunday, thereby eliminating them from the playoffs, so it'll be a great playoff season for me.

vote-for3vote-against

Go Bills!

Seriously, just... go.

vote-for2vote-against

Wanna trade? For the Redskins?

Nah, I didn't think so.

vote-for1vote-against

The Cowboys look terrible thanks to Tony Romo. Le Sad

vote-for3vote-against

My team secured a draft pick (Rams - #2). That's about it

vote-for2vote-against

The J-E-T-S did not make it this year so I will be rooting for the Giants of New York.

Anyone but those lousy Patriots!

vote-for3vote-against

@pinchecat: Yeah. Hopefully Foster and Tate just go off.
I'm excited. We're having a party for it.

vote-for3vote-against

@pinchecat: Last year I thought Gary Kubiak was going to be let go and the Broncos could get him back, but it's good to see the Texans doing well this year.

vote-for4vote-against

As much as I've been a fan of the Broncos for decades, I almost wish they hadn't gotten into the playoffs. They backed into them after losing their last 3 games, and Tim didn't look good in any of them. At least the defense is playing well.

vote-for3vote-against

@wickedd365: ah yes, I can identify with that. Regardless, we still have the #2 defense and #2 rushing offense in the league, despite the injuries! I think we'll pull it out this weekend, but after that I think we'll have problems.

vote-for4vote-against

As a Cowboys fan - I'm obviously not thrilled about this season. I am calling Shenanigans because of the lockout.

vote-for3vote-against

@waltertangofoxtrot: Ah, so you are saying you prefer the foreign kickball game in which little guys in short shorts play foot catch with a ball for a few hours? Well the NFL is an 8-8 league and my Cowboys are still an 8-8 team :(

vote-for3vote-against

@waltertangofoxtrot: Worse than that. Our company dealt for a long time with pro football teams, and I can't make mayself 'root' for these businesses any more than I can for GM or Microsoft. It's a business, not a game.

vote-for2vote-against

YES!!! PACKERS all the way (ahem... AGAIN!!!)!! :D Home field advantage = great for the economy!! It's all good!

vote-for2vote-against

@pinchecat: It's not that I don't have faith, I'm just worried. With our injury problems who knows what will happen Sat.
I support my Texans 100%. Win, lose, or draw, I don't care.

vote-for3vote-against

the DREAM TEAM failed me :(

vote-for2vote-against

I love all of the Lions fans in here. Makes me proud to see them turn around after getting to enjoy the Tigers turn it around after going 43-119 in 2003.

Maybe the Pistons need to go 12-54 this year?

vote-for2vote-against

Nope, to little to late for the seahawks. I don't care much for the NFL, good thing it's bowl season.

vote-for7vote-against

I grew up in Phoenix, and for the 17 years I lived there, my entire impression of football was "its a bunch of crybabies who want a new stadium, even though they can't fill the college stadium they currently live at, and you can count their wins over the last decade without taking your shoes off."

Then I moved to Wisconsin where you either Love the packers, or people look at you like you're "special" and talk slowly, trying not to make sudden movements in case you have a "moment of confusion."

In truth, I have no problem watching an awesome football game, but I have a hard time watching a "good game" where you see 7 seconds of action, followed by 45 seconds of standing around, followed by 5 seconds of action, followed by 2 minutes of arguing over a penalty, followed by 13 seconds of action, followed by 2 minutes of commercials. If not for RedZone HD, I'd probably not bother waking up on Sunday.

vote-for4vote-against

Nope, 5-11 doesn't get you very far unless you are in the NFC West. (Seriously, the Seahawks made the playoffs with a losing record last year. The West needs a redesign to make things a little more competitive.)

vote-for3vote-against

Saints go marching in 2012! The game with Debt-riot ought to be a fun one.

vote-for5vote-against

You mean my Lions actually made it to the play-offs. I must be dreaming because I never thought in a million years that this could happen.

Maybe the end of the world will happen in 2012 only it will not happen in December. It will be happening February 05, 2012!

vote-for4vote-against

@theselected: LOL! I was just being a turd. I don't watch football, but I know what it is...

vote-for7vote-against

heck fire NO..cause I am a die heart Cowboys fan (emphasis on DIE!!!)....and they laid down for the stinkin Eagles and Giants. Pa-the-tic.

But the ONION is reporting that the Dallas Cowboys have Realeased Jerry Jones.... so they obviously are ready to make big changes!! Woot!

vote-for5vote-against

@mellielou: Yeah Lions!!! Long haul...but Wow! go Lions!!

vote-for4vote-against

@wickedd365: oh ye of little faith! i'll be cheerin' em on @ reliant on saturday!

vote-for1vote-against

The National Football League (NFL) is the highest level of professional American football in the United States, and is considered the top professional American football league in the world.[1] It was formed by eleven teams in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association, with the league changing its name to the National Football League in 1922. The league currently consists of thirty-two teams from the United States. The league is divided evenly into two conferences – the American Football Conference (AFC) and National Football Conference (NFC), and each conference has four divisions that have four teams each, for a total of 16 teams in each conference. The NFL is an unincorporated 501(c)(6) association,[2][3][4] a federal nonprofit designation,[5] comprising its 32 teams.

Heh, my Father and my Brother are huge Packers fans, so I am obligated by genetic law to cheer for them as well. Kinda wish they had gone undefeated though, but what can you do.

vote-for9vote-against

The Lions are finally in the playoffs, finally have a quarterback we can be proud of, and finally have a coach who doesn't fall asleep on the sidelines.

I'm so proud of us

vote-for7vote-against

Deeeeeetroiiiiiittttttt! Finally :)

vote-for5vote-against

The two teams I have any rooting interest in went a combined 5-32 this year sooooooo...
