Have you ever wondered "what's Amazon thinking" when you see the items in "Customers Who Bought…
Some days, I think Amazon has lost its collective mind. I was wandering on Amazon today & noticed really odd things in my "Customers Who Bought Items in Your Recent History Also Bought" selections:
An electric mouse trap
"You Might Be a Zombie and Other Bad News."
A Firewire Storage Bay
Organic Mother's Milk Herbal Tea
"Five Good Reasons to Punch A Dolphin."
The Complete Star Wars Saga
"A Practical Guide To Racism"
Toilet Paper
Kraft Macaroni and Cheese
Diapers
"Viking:Battle For Asgard"
What's in my browsing history, you ask? Viking Invasion Power Stays-- never figured out what these were; A Humpty Dumpty garden statue (someone on deals was looking for one like the one on the Sellout TV); "Go The F**k To Sleep."
The diapers, I understand. Heck, even the Mac & Cheese. And I get the Viking power stays & Viking book association. It's the rest that make me wonder what's in Amazon water fountains!?
Has any one else experienced Weird Aunt Amazon's idea of good stuff?

Mine are all coffee, movies, music, and consumer electronics. Hmm...
You don't want to know what they offer me...
Books, lots and lots of books.
My customers who bought... is all nerf. I think it's because I clicked on the nerf gun recommendation in the deals.woot graduation question.
@ohcheri I didn't but now I do. :)
@oheifearnain: I want to know too. Other mistake I made a few weeks back was looking for Fairy Godmother glass magic wands. Well, lemme tell you, what came up wasn't exactly what Disney had in mind when he thought up his version of "Sleeping Beauty."
I wish I got interesting results. All mine actually RELATE to the items on the page.
@lavikinga: I could not resist I checked out Fairy Godmother glass magic wands. Wow.
@oheifearnain: Some how, I think that's a dangerous place to be putting glass.
@lavikinga: I had the same thought.
@ohcheri: I can imagine, actually, having forgotten before to change my category from "Health & Beauty" before typing in a new search query...
And the suggestions Amazon makes based on my purchase and browsing history might lead one to believe unsavory things about me lol
most of the time it puts up stuff that i probably should look at before i make a decision
