Have you seen a TV with 4k resolution?
I was at Nebraska Furniture Mart and they had this 82" TV with 4k resolution. The picture was just astounding! I can't even begin to describe it, it's truly something you have to see for yourself. I've heard people say things like "it's as if you're actually there" about TV's in the past, but this is even closer to that than before. I was sad to see the pricetag at a whopping $17,000, though. I can't wait for that price to drop! Anyone else see a TV with that resolution?
I haven't seen one in person yet, but there are 8K screens out there. I saw one a year or two ago on a livestream from CES. 8K. Imagine the price tag on that thing!
The only 4k item I've seen is the Sony Projector on Amazon. With a hefty pricetag of $25,000 though, I've decided to sit this one out. Eventually, I'd like to get one for my game room -- just not at that price.
Does anyone know if there's an updated version of this chart?

Saw the 4K at CES and even they were saying just wait until you see the 8K
Since virtually NO content is being produced for 4k or greater resolutions, there's really no point.
There may be no TV content produced, but most current camera phones take pictures that can take advantage of that many pixels. I would love to have a nice 65 inch monitor running at 4096x2160 for my computer.
