Pint/16oz. Smaller = not enough. Bigger = gets warm from your hand being all up on it, unless you're chugging, which I don't fancy much.

I agree to agree with @meh3884 and @tarasadies. Pint is the supreme cup size. I use them for everything nearly.

Depends on what I'm drinking and why, but, mostly pint is a great size. I use pint mason jars as my every day drinking glasses and they work great. Also, should I break one, I'm only another jar of salsa or peanut butter away from replacing it.

For water bottles though, I prefer quart/liter. Anything bigger is too unwieldly. Anything smaller requires too many refills.

A liter for water, 12 ounces for coffee. I don't do soda, so no idea on that one.
