What's the intended use of the turntable? Do you want to just play and listen, or do you want to be able convert your old vinyl to MP3?
And when you say "not too pricey", what is your budget?
Well I've got two turntables and a microphone, that's where it's at.
well...as far as not too pricey i am trying to get an idea what a decent one costs...and it would just be to play vinyl
@durkzilla: just play old records
What's your budget?
Here's an everything in one box record player with decent reviews on Amazon for $45: http://www.amazon.com/Jensen-3-Speed-Stereo-Turntable-Radio/dp/B000UVKE2I/ref=pd_cp_e_3
A little fancier but still inexpensive (IMHO) at $80, but would require a stereo to plug it into: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-PS-LX250H-Automatic-Belt-Drive-Turntable/dp/B00005T3XH/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1311437990&sr=1-2
when I was a little baby boy my mama gave me a brand new toy
Two turn tables with a mic, and I learned to rock like Dolymite
Time went by, on this God creation, I knew someday I'd rock the nation
back when my mama bought me those two turntables (techincs 1200's), they were pretty cheap.
@kamikazeken: I like it!
@durkzilla: Thanks! I think I may want to spend a bit more and get something a bit better...
@bonoman: maybe around $150
