What do gamers think about XBox getting the new CoD: MW3 maps first?

I just got an email showing that the 2 new maps, Liberation & Piazza for Modern Warfare 3, are available first on XBox. I was just curious if tactics like this sway someone towards buying the XBox version over the PS3 version of a particular game or if anyone else had any other comments about this.

Nothing new. Activision has had this deal with Microsoft for years now. All the way back to MW2.
PS3 gets Battlefield DLC one week early. I would much rather trade that for CoD.

Isn't this always the case?

I personally find the MW series to be over-rated, so I don't care, but even if I owned it, I don't think I'd care. I'm not overly obsessed with the series, so I don't NEED to have the DLC right away (I own a PS3, for the record). Even then, it will reach me eventually. Because I have a PS3, it means I'd be getting the DLC at the same time as anyone I'd play online with, so it leaves me virtually unaffected.

They're just maps anyway, it doesn't add that much new to the game. I don't play THAT much online, so perhaps that guides my opinion somewhat. If there was system-exclusive DLC, I might care more, but getting something earlier than someone else? Not a big deal.

On top of that, the people who pay for MW3 "Elite" (I think for 40 bucks a year) are getting the maps several weeks before regular 360 players. That kind of sucks for those of us who play for fun, as opposed to the kids out there that will be looking for "glitches" during the pre-release.

Ok so I play MW3 on Xbox and here is my stance. I love that we get early access to stuff like this. For the non elite members that will be paying for these maps in March I think the early exclusive thing is cool.

However I think that if a person purchased Elite on PS3, Xbox, PC they should get the same early access rights as everybody else. They payed the $50 for that privilege and correct me if I am wrong I think the non xbox elite members were lead to believe that they would be getting the maps early also.

@segafanalways: I agree with the first part, but the second part is a little off.
The people who pay for Elite will still get the maps earlier than the public release on the PS3 and PC, just as right now Elite members have access to the maps, but not the public on 360.
