Who else ordered the $100 Guaranteed Mystery box from GraveyardMall?
For those that ordered it, I just got the following message:
GraveyardMall Said:
------------------------------------------------
Good Morning
Thank you for your recent order for our super mystery box. Turns out, these boxes aren't going to be as super as we had hoped. The company that we partnered with to do these has sent us nothing but used and damaged goods. We do apologize for this and here's how we're going to make it up to you. First, you will receive a full refund for your order. Second, you will receive one of our mystery gift boxes (sold for $29.99 plus shipping), free of charge. We are embarrassed by this and apologize for the situation.
------------------------------------------------
Really cool that they are making it up to the customers who ordered this with an alternate free box!
Go GraveyardMall!

Can't say I got the super mystery box, but I've ordered a couple things from them (including the normal mystery box), and aside from slow shipping never been anything but pleased.
Beware the mystery box offers. A fool and his money and all that rot.
that was very nice of them.
@lavikinga: I like the Super Guaranteed Mystery Boxes as if you are not pleased, they pay for return shipping & refund the entire order.
It's a fun way to find stuff you didn't know you HAD to have lol
@devexityspace: All of their mystery boxes are guaranteed, which includes cost of shipping both ways.
Frankly that's how it should be... too many random companies get away with passing off dollar-store crap to unwary consumers. It's a damn shame, because (when done right) mystery boxes can be both a lot of fun for the consumers and still profitable for retailers.
@devexityspace: Really and truly? No questions asked? They'll just pony back up your money without a fuss? That's a rarity! I am glad to know there is at least one company more out there who hasn't got it "in" for the consumer.
I thought mystery boxes have been long since banned here after the @bkindustries debacle
@dcalotta: I'm pretty sure that they were just banned from being advertised on Deals.Woot. I know that @gearxs has mystery boxes every once and a while and graveyardmall has them also. I don't think that Woot! can tell other companies what they can and can't sell on their websites but I could be wrong ;)
@studerc: Oh of course, I guess I misunderstood and took this to be in relation to "deals" posted here.
@devexityspace: Whoa whoa whoa...when were these $100 boxes up?
I'd like to get in on some of that. How much are they?
I've been turned off of mystery boxes (other than Woot!) when I got screwed by a couple places during the "Mystery Box" craze of early Deals.Woot.
(Can't remember right off hand...I think it was midnight box and somebody else..) One of them actually gave me an f-ing COUPON as part of the "$30 merch. guarantee" lol
