Why can't I add a new Burt's Bees deal?

I can't get to the site at all right now.

I can get to the main site, but the item-specific link is apparently broken. In fact, I can't even get it to load by going to site itself and clicking on their own link.

I don't think the problem has to do with deals.woot.com blocking your deal but rather with the main site itself being problematical at the moment.

Edit: Now it says it's up. And then back down again on refresh. They should get into the elevator business.

I added the deal, finally! However, the dircet link wouldn't work, as I could only use the home page link. At least it worked!

This is the first time I've seen that particular deal not allowed. It's really frustrating to have a good deal removed after being up for weeks, with tons of positive feedback and upvotes. Very disheartening.

@misterron: Thanks for the head's up on the current price drop, I'm in for 2 more as this stuff packs my "random gift" box.

@jumbowoot: I understand where you're coming from! It's actually on Burt's Bees by calling it grab bag, even if they DO give a list of some of the items in the "bag". Maybe they could have used different wording, but I'm sure they don't care if it caused problems on Deals.woot, since they're clearing out the items. At least we know what to look for, NOT add, and "tattle" on in the future. Thanks!

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
