Can you recommend a good wireless router?
I am thinking abou purchasing the belkin n600 db. Any suggestions or comments?
i just bought this: http://www.amazon.com/AirLink-300Mbps-802-11n-Wireless-Firewall/dp/B002IAHIFA - from a recent tanga offering.
and flashed it with DD-WRT. and i love it.
@vinithehat: I bought this router from woot:
It works but drops the connection to things like the airport express.
What is DD-RWT? Can I do this to the above router? Might it help the situation?
@greg57vw: doesnt look like your router is supported. The reason i flashed the airlink what pretty much the same thing - internet dropped once every 24 hours or so. afte flashing - which was easy peasy - no more dropping problems and the software is geektastic.
Here's a good place to check potential routers.

These days when it comes to routers, if I can't flash it, I don't want it.
The WRT320N I have with hacked external antennas works really nicely. Would prefer simultaneous dual-band, however I have a bad feeling that the 5GHz 802.11n band isn't going to last. So many manufacturers don't bother with it at this point. Microsoft didn't include it in the 360 S, as an example, when their previous adapter for the original supported it.
Cisco Linksys E2000/E3000 or Asus RT-N16 are definitely my top two routers to recommend. Stay away from Belkin and D-Link. Netgear is "okay," but not really great.
Linksys E3000. I have it and it works great. In fact, the E2000 is pretty nice too as I got it set up at my dads. Just do simple research on the two and see which suits ya. Check up on the E2000 first as it will be cheaper and probably do you just fine.
I have an E2000 and I love it. I got it because my FIOS router didn't support gigabit ethernet, so I made the FIOS router into a pass-thru and hooked up my E2000. I get incredible download speeds, and rock solid connections. With my old router, sometimes I'd drop RDP connections if I had significant peer-to-peer traffic. Now, those drop-offs are a thing of the past, even downloading at 1.8M/s (on a 15Mbps connection).
I think I got mine from here with the code mentioned:

The coupon code is E2000-32 which makes the price $31.99.
