Just had an excellent Customer Service experience. Have you had any recently?
This Home Depot deal, was posted 10/27. I registered as a "PRO" (don't ask!), received/printed out the coupon.
Didn't go to HD until yesterday (Sat. 11/17). Went to the Service Desk instead of regular check-out: thought I'd have a better chance of applying the coupon there. The clerk looked at it & asked what I was buying. Gave her my purchases, she scanned them, then scanned the coupon. "Oh, this coupon expired on the 12th."
Me: :-/ Kicking self for not going in sooner. Then, the Service Desk ANGEL said she was going to check w/the manager. Left, came back & told me she couldn't apply the coupon, BUT was taking $50 off the bill!! I was floored! THIS is why I like Home Depot. Astounding customer service w/a smile.
What about you? Have you had someone go beyond the norm to give you a good deal or take care of a pesky problem?
