Arrested Development: The Movie

No idea how far out it is, but that's the one big film I'm waiting for.

The Hobbit! That's a long way away though.

Movie I'm looking forward to most is Expendables 2. Something about non-stop fighting and explosives that just make me happy!

I'm with you on Dark Knight. But I am really looking forward to Dredd and Total Recall

Super pumped for Dark Knight. Getting my midnight tickets today.

Next big one for me is Spiderman. Looks good.
Prometheus is awesome. Might go see that again to hold me over.

Ender's Game next year it will either be epic, or crap. I'm really hopeing for epic.

Dark Knight! Already got tickets, but I'm totally over the whole "midnight showing" thing.

LOL! That made me picture somebody was throwing big movies at me.

I find it telling that nobody has mentioned Amazing Spiderman. I get the feeling that nobody really gives a crap about it. For one, it's too soon for a reboot. And two, the new Spiderman (forgot the actor's name and don't care enough to look it up) just isn't dweeby enough.

@mtm2: Ooo, I'm so excited for this one! As much as I am disappointed it won't have Matt Damon in it, the movie still looking like it will be an awesome action packed ride that won't disappoint.

@ruger9mm: Tough to do epic - just with the way Hollywood does stuff sometimes - but I'm right there with you.

@elforman: Someone did mention Spider-Man :) But the point is well-taken. I really didn't understand doing a reboot (aside from the business reason of maintaining film rights), and early trailers just didn't seem to differentiate it enough to be worth it. ... But I have to say, some of the recent promo materials have got me excited in spite of myself. Andrew Garfield is a real fan of the character since he was a kid, and it really shines through how much fun he's having. He seems like a great Peter Parker. I'm not sure how true Gwen Stacy will be to the comics character, but I'm a big Emma Stone fan so I can't wait to see what she does with the character.

I am looking forward to Expendables 2 and to GI Joe 2. The addition of Dwayne Johnson, one of my favorite guys to have fun with at the cineplex, pushes that movie higher on my register than it would have been. I hope they let Ray Park show his face this time around. Timothy Green looks pretty interesting in the non-boom category. Although we have tickets for the Dark Knight marathon in XD, I am not all that stoked about it. It's more about having fun with my friends than the movies. I was disappointed in Mirror Mirror, Rock of Ages and Prometheus, really enjoyed Snow White, and of course, Avengers is my Movie of the Year.

Mine will be The Dark Knight Rises. Nothing else has captured my interest.

@moondrake: You do know that you're going to have to wait another year for GI Joe 2, right? :\

@riknik: Yes, I looked on IMDB to be sure it was still Ray Park in that mask and was surprised to see the 2013 release date. I don't like seeing previews and getting excited about a movie a year ahead of time, by the time it comes out I've used up all my enthusiasm.

@moondrake: It was changed extremely last-minute. The official reason given was that they needed more time to do the 3D conversion justice. This smelled like a BOC.

Word on the street is that Channing Tatum was going to have a very diminished role in the sequel, but then when he had two really big movies earlier this year, the studio got cold feet about how audiences would react to that. So it sounds like they're doing rewrites/reshoots to reintegrate him into the plot.

Given that they've blown millions on promoting the 2012 date, it's all pretty scary. I was pretty "meh" about the first one but I thought GI Joe 2 looked really cool -- I'm pretty disappointed that I have to wait and also that with every little tweak and studio interference it's probably that much worse off.
