How do you organize your paper coupons?
Right now, we have folders for fast food, restaurants, and store products. Even then, we gather way more coupons than we'd ever use and then have to cull the dead ones when they're no longer useful. The bright side is we almost always have a coupon when we want to eat out.

I used to have a wallet size, multi-compartment coupon organizer for my purse. I used to be a coupon fanatic when I lived where they would double or triple and combine with store deals. I do not see that great coupon deals where I live now, and when I do see something I can use, I cut it out, put it in my purse and seem to forget all about it lately. Just not coupon-oriented as was the case several years ago.
In the circular file (that means trash can for those who may not know). I know I should be more coupon friendly, but I find they just make me spend more than I normally would have. I already have woot helping me do that, so I don't need a second source of temptation.
Also, every time I keep a coupon, I always find it and/or try to use it the day after it expires.
I started using coupons more within the last year when I discovered how many I find in the newspaper for things I am buying already! I'm far from being an extreme coupon-er, but I have found that on a big grocery trip I probably save an average of $30-$40. I have been using a wallet sized accordion folder so I can drop coupons into categories. Before my trip I pull the ones I plan to use and drop them in a separate section so they are handy.
@alpayton: I typically try to keep coupons a while before using, hoping to combine with a sale price. Usually the manufacturer doesn't set up sale deals with stores at the same time they put out new coupons. So this means storing them for a while.
I also keep full page ads full of fast food coupons, and they don't fit in any small organizer unless I detach them all (which makes it harder to keep track of them by expiration date).
Magnet clipped to the side of the fridge. I try to keep track of expiry dates, but fail on a regular basis.
file cabinet.
sunday newspaper coupon inserts go into a folder, intact each week. Then when there's a deal needing a coupon, I grab that week's folder, clip the coupon's needed, and put the inserts back into their folder. Nice & clean. I use the slickdeals database to find which insert contains a coupon I need: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=722144
Magnet on the fridge. I'll check every couple of months, realize they all expired, and then throw them away begrudgingly.
