The link gets messed up when you click out from here...

You'll need to Copy/Paste the link for it to work.

Unfortunately, I don't meet their requirements. Bummer.

Thanks @thefenst. I have done this with Survey Savvy for a couple years and have made hundreds of dollars in extra income and have been chosen for Amazon.com incentives as well. (I got about 200-300 dollars in Amazon codes for one community project I was selected for.) I look forward to adding your site as well. If anyone is interested in the site I used they can use my referral code here: https://www.surveysavvy.com?id=1896442&action=join

Not trying to steal thefenst's thunder, just adding other choices of legitimate sites that really do pay and cost you nothing. :)

After getting the code to work and loaded and all my information filled out this is what I received:

"Thank you for your interest.

Thank you for your interest in PineCone Research. Unfortunately, there are no available openings for members with a household make-up that aligns with yours at this time. However we will keep your registration for a few weeks in case a spot opens up.

If you have any questions, please email Scott@PineConeResearch.com."

Oh to be a white, middle-aged, middle class, male US citizen...lol

@thefenst and @xarous: Sure, I'm game and will check them out.

Years ago I was a "mystery shopper" for a well-known restaurant chain which sent reimbursement checks for the meals they asked me to purchase and report on, but most such offers these days are less than reputable. It's nice to have info from a couple of people with specific experience about the sites' legitimacy.

@xarous: Don't feel bad. I'm a white, middle-aged-plus female US citizen, and they don't need me either.

vote-for3vote-against

The website said the offer isn't available in my area.

vote-for3vote-against

I'm not sure exactly who they are looking for, but I figured someone might be able to get in on it.

vote-for5vote-against

no openings for me either. Maybe it'd be easier if they just told us what they were looking for.

...cuz then I'd just sign up saying I was a that... ;)

@magic cave: That's cause I filled the old lady spot.
I keep getting surveys for fiber enriched products, lotions and pet foods.

I guess I'm a constipated, dried out, crazy cat lady.

vote-for1vote-against

Don't everybody give up, they accepted me.

vote-for2vote-against

I didn't even get a chance to fill anything out. I guess they use a filter that automatically detects the area your computer is in. Which is kind of messed up, because I go to three different cities quite often.

@mojosmackwit: tell us about you, so we can pretend to be your age, race, and home size to sign up too. 0:-)

vote-for3vote-against

@mojosmackwit: Braggart. That means you have to buy a round for everyone here.

vote-for1vote-against

Niiiice, I got it too. Thanks @thefenst ^_^

My profile was accepted! Thanks.

vote-for2vote-against

When do you find out if your profile was accepted?

I submitted the results and haven't seen anything yet.

I have been with Pinecone for many years and they are great. Used to be they paid $3 cash for each survey, now it is about 1/3 cash and 2/3 entry into a contest to win $500. Their surveys aren't too long, are well put together and are fairly straightforward. I highly recommend signing up if you can.

This is the email I received:

Thank you for contacting PineCone Research. In order to provide you with quicker responses we are sending this automated message. The email you just sent will still be reviewed and if there are additional questions that are not answered below you will receive a separate email from me within the next 48 hours.

We have made the decision not to accept recruits through general referrals nor will we be posting recruitment on our website. We will be posting banner ads on various unspecified web sites from time to time throughout the year. This is so we may better target more specific groups needed to meet the needs of our clients. Unfortunately, this is our only way of accepting new panelists at this time.

@ohcheri: I never even received an e-mail from them period.

vote-for2vote-against

Guess I was accepted! Got this e-mail:

Dear Registrant,

Thank you for signing up for the PineCone Research online consumer panel! In order for us to finish processing your registration we have a few additional questions for you. Your prompt response is appreciated and will put you into the queue for your first paid survey.

[Info on additional questions]

I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail from them, but I just got my first paid survey opportunity from them.

Thanks.

@xarous: Your link worked for me, thanks. Not sure you'll get referral credit tho as it asked for the referrers email address.

vote-for1vote-against

they took me for both. i used @xarous's referral link but they asked for an email and i left it blank
then for the pinecone thing, they aren't taking referrals or signups on their website but i googled for "pineconeresearch banner ad" and found this page with the link to sign up
