What do you think the new US flag design will look like, once PR brings the states up to 51?

Do you think it'll be a slight shift to the star pattern? A big re-arrangement? Maybe a shift to a less direct representation of each state? Or do you think they'll be stinkers and leave it alone?

Won't have to worry about changing the flag.

Once Texas hears they let Puerto Rico in as a state, they will secede spouting something about not wanting to be part of a country that lets part of Mexico become a state.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
