Hi, @abitterwoman ! What made you choose that name? Interesting.

I live with my very tall Dutch husband and our two children, a girl and a boy, and a cat named Angel.

I currently do some parent coaching on the topic of gentle/positive discipline, but before I stayed home with my kids I taught high school (5y) and college (2y). I like to make jewelry... Mostly with millefiori beads.

If I were to say who I am, I would say, I am a content person, often happy, and I accept others for where they are at. I have worked hard to be s "glass is half full" kind of person even though I was raised in an environment that was half empty to eternity. Whatever struggles I have (and I'm not drunk so you'll just have to guess), I'm so lucky to have great friends in my life and a happy little family unit. I'm not sure exactly what karmic energy led me to where I'm at today, but I hope to continue to live up to it. I sure don't take it for granted.

Nice question!

Interests/hobbies:
- Woot.com
- Photography
- Anime (subbed)
- Music (acoustic, singer/songwriter)
- Computer repairs and diagnostics
- Chatting with complete strangers like yourself
- Gaming (MMORPG)
- Cars
- Sleeping
- Squirrels (community forum joke)
- Amazon.com Reviewer rank 8,000, I was at the 7,000s last week but I haven't wrote any reviews for a month. Aiming for top reviewer and vine someday. Maybe Woot can write a letter of recommendation for me! I seriously just write reviews as my stress relief to rant on something as inanimate instead of towards other people. Stress displacement!

Never married. Male. Age 21. I don't drink or smoke. Pro-environmental. GPA is slightly above average due to lack of foundation from previous professors, but I'm pretty intellectual and I surprise myself sometimes. Definitely a huge nerd. LVN going to RN.

That's all I can come up with for now and just ran out of space.

I'm 20, almost 21 (yay alcohol!!!), single and indifferent about it. I like video games as well, but I'm more of an RPG fan than FPS games. I'm a student also, and am 2 years from getting my BSN (bachelors in nursing). My dream job is to advance my degree to a Phd, become an NP (Nurse Practitioner) and get a teaching degree so I can teach nursing students along with seeing patients. It may happen, it may not, but it's something to look forward to possibly.

Sorry, but if I wanted everyone to know everything about me I'd be on Facebook instead of Woot.

I'm @cowboydann and I'm going to act like the deals.woot rules here.

If you want to learn anything about me you're gonna have to arbitrarily search through thousands of questions for bits and pieces of information.

ahem All told. (?)

@videowallart: You drive a plain white van offering free candy to children? Just curious, do you actually have candy or is that just a ploy?

vote-for9vote-against

My nick is gmwhit. Please call my attorney if you want more info. Is this a FB joke?

vote-for17vote-against

I haven't had enough to drink to answer this question outright, though I will point out that @cowboydann's suggestion above will get you quite a bit of information on most of the regulars here.

I wouldn't want to ruin the illusion people have of me in their heads.

vote-for13vote-against

I'm surprised this question is receiving so many responses, real answers and "r u 4 real?" inquiries. I'm in the r u 4 real category and stand with @cowboydan on this. A much better place for this q is on the woot! FB page. But, hey, even I posted.

The Ruger P series are a line of centerfire semi-automatic pistols made by Sturm, Ruger & Company. The P series pistols were designed for military, police, civilian self defense and recreational use. The designs are largely based on the Browning action found in the M1911 pistol, but with minor variations, generally related to the safety mechanism and the barrel-camblock interface. Reviews have considered them rugged, reliable, and strong, though this strength comes at the price of bulk and a blocky appearance. The P85 was developed in 1985, but was not available until 1987. The P89 is an upgraded P85 MKII that introduced a number of new features; including a DAO model. In 1991, Ruger produced a limited run P89X convertible model, which came with a second barrel and recoil spring assembly that allowed conversion between 9mm and .30 Luger calibers. The P89 was discontinued in late 2007.

I enjoy cooking/grilling, but not baking. I like classic and new video games, but mostly in the Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Donkey Kong Country series.

I work for a state university as a web specialist and I'm always on deals.woot trying to save money, as I'm working to pay off around $20,000 in college-time and early graduate/married life debt, that I have aside from student loans.

My favorite movies include: Airplane, Hugo, Ernest Saves Christmas, and Wall*E

Oh, my goodness. I went to sleep and woke up with a lot to read. After my breakfast of Oreos, I sat down and had a good laugh. You are all very interesting people, even those ninjas who don't like to share information.
Thanks for the nice welcome. I am sorry I said "you people" but Wooty Americans seems to offend some people.
@kschouten Great reply, I enjoyed it. I chose my name as a gamertag at first so when I shot people in the game, they would see, "You were killed by A Bitter Woman."
@conanthelibrarian I love the rain!
@joshobra You sound like my kind of (squirrely) person!
@captainsuperdawg Best of luck on your future. Sounds like you have a plan!
@jseureau You sound like a good guy.

@sobohmer That's good. I'm a very awkward person. Awkward is my life.
@ruger9mm You sound hot.
@okham I love pork. A+ for you. Do you ever shave pork with your razors? Because that would be cool.

@hossdawg97 I was assimilated years ago. I have nothing left to take -_- Except my Oreos.
@lumpthar Nice list of cars/van. You will have to take me for a flight on your desk sometime. I did not at all mean that to sound sexual.
@wnyx585am I am Xena. We should join forces and conquer deals.woot.
@kj4rxm You people are always so sensitive. Freggin' Wooters. Hah!
@jylissia I feel so bad when people say that. If I could hack your account I would just to try and get you a BOC. Between my boyfriend and I, I have managed to grab us a total of about 5. And I haven't been here for years. It's because right now I'm a student with too much free time.
@jmattoon Holds up lighter Sing it!
@mkentosh You sound like a lot of the Wooters here :)
@bradyson I have an old 45 called Bayou Pierre. You just reminded me of it. Cajuns rock!
@adadavis A+ for the reference.
@barnabee Thank you! I joined the dark side long ago. I just pretend to be innocent.
@dogbountyhunter1 Let's hang! You sound fun!

College keeps me busy most of the year, but I get to hang out here during summers. Hit second place but didn't touch it for 8 months so my rating's down at 70-ish.

Generally familiar with most flavors of geekdom, but have some particular interests, of course. I'm rather a fan of Tim Shafer's games, but missed his kickstarter because I wasn't paying attention. I read all kinds of webcomics (the list is at something like 10 right now...) and also read real books on occasion. Picked up Song of Ice and Fire recently and just got through the third book, then took a two day break to read the Hunger Games trilogy. Enjoyed it, but wasn't overly impressed. Mostly I think my eyes just hurt at that point.

For what people have said before...

@abitterwoman: I'll take you for a flight on my desk any time...though it is nowhere near as exciting as it sounds.

vote-for2vote-against

@lumpthar: Wee! I'd settle for a blindfold and you making fake flying "whoosh" noises. I'm easily entertained.

@trahentis Cool! :) Thanks for the great info!

Sorry, I didn't notice your age. My previous answer was a tribute to the Beatles, and you are probably too young to understand that. It's the opening line to "I Am the Walrus", which was my answer to the original question. Have a great weekend, and enjoy your stay here. :)

vote-for3vote-against

@abitterwoman: @trahentis posted a few good links, but if you have the time & patience, you can dig deep into the community forum and find a few other variations on your question. We're a mixed bag here. The answers tend to veer off track because some of us are famous for hijacking threads :::looking at @shrdlu & whistling a tuneless song::: frequently.

vote-for3vote-against

@ruger9mm: You're a RugerRainman ;)
I spent part of my week plinking with my Dad's old .22 Ruger pistol, among others. What a fun gun use for target shooting. Every time I use it, I think "I need one of these."

Scariest question ever asked. I think I'll have a beer. I have to go!! Now!!

vote-for2vote-against

@lavikinga: Yeah, I remember seeing some of those, including one in which shrdlu talked about gardening, but my searches came up with 50 pages of results. And I just wasn't ready to deal with that.

also, you probably don't need one of those (.22 ruger) as tempting as they are...
