What are the best deals in digital magazines?
For the life of me, I'd love to shed the stacks of magazines I have sitting around my house. My wife hates that they stack up when I'm busy, and sometimes I feel guilty chucking a magazine if I don't get a chance to clip at least a couple of good articles.
So I recently got an ASUS Transformer Prime (Android Tablet) and I thought, "Hey maybe I'll transfer/purchase digital subscriptions to all of my favorite magazines." Boy was I wrong. Some magazines cost more per issue than the print versions!
The best value is probably Popular Mechanics at $1.99 per issue, but others are horrible. the TP came with Zinio which seems like a good App for handling magazines, there's always Kindle and other e-reader software to do the same.
I've also heard of an app that pulls information from around the internet and presents it in a magazine type format called Feedly? Maybe Feedquares.
Thoughts are always appeciated!

I like the Zinio app. Been using it for about 4 months with no issues.
I hesitate to purchase digital subscriptions (call me old fashioned) and still lean toward an actual tangible magazine. I did receive a free digital subscription to Cosmopolitan (a magazine I will only accept if given to me) and it seems ok.
It's crazy how much the prices are inflated for digital subscriptions. I don't need all of the special web-interfaces for the magazines. If they could just scan and upload them for the same price as print - I'd gladly pay it.
Some other sources turned me towards feed aggregators on Android like feedly, pulse, ... and another one I'm not thinking of right now. I've enjoyed those because then I can pull articles from multiple sources - just have to be connected to wi-fi.
