Have you already pre-ordered MW3 or do you plan to?
I think its crazy that its coming out only 1 year after Black-Ops. I hope they fine tuned it. They should have at least had a limited beta test. Im expecting tons of glitches, but I will be in line at mid-night to grab a copy Nov 8th.
naah, I got MW2, so I don't feel like I'll be missing much.
Also, the reason it's coming out so quickly is because this game will be made by the same team as MW2 was, while black ops was an entirely different team.
Well true, I knew the company behind the game was different, but still seems like a quick release. I know of people who have recently purchased Block Ops or plan to. IF I hadnt yet, I would just continue with MW2 and wait for MW3.
I will be preordering it when I get back to the US. As much as I claim to hate the series, I'm still hooked.
Also, to elaborate a bit on what Stel said, the modern gaming system CODs, COD 2 and up, have had two separate developers working on them (for monetary reasons - 2x as many games). Infinity Ward, the original developer, has made COD 2, MW, and MW2, pretty much the good games. Treyarch, the other developer, has made COD3, WaW, and Black Ops. I, and most people I know, am personally not a fan of Treyarch and stick to buying only the IW games.
Also, the 1 game per year release is what this franchise has done throughout this modern console cycle. It's not unique to this release.
I did when I picked up L.A. Noire only because I got a sweet double sided poster. I'll be moving over to the Gears 3 Epic Edition. That Marcus figure is so awesome looking.
Activision is going to keep pushing the COD franchise every year until people stop buying them like crazy. They are some of the worst money whores in the business and making sub par games. It use to be EA, but they are actually putting out good products.
From what we have heard what is left of Infinity Ward is doing the single player and Raven Software is doing multilayer.
I'll buy it if it supports private servers. No private servers? No interest.
No way. There's simply not enough information yet available about this game to warrant a pre-order.
Will not be preordering MW3. Looks terrible, same old stuff.
My Battlefield 3 preorder, however, has already been made :)
