Thanks for all your help with the Easter Basket ideas!

Not a questions! Just wanted to thank everyone for their non-candy Easter basket suggestions.

I found the cutest easter bags at the Dollar Store, 4/$1: pink w/popup bunny ears; blue with w/Easter egg; and, multi-color w/popup chick. I filled each bag with a Playdoh egg, sunglasses, a squishy ball with spikes, a sticker/coloring book, 8pk of crayons, and the girls got plastic bracelets and matching ring, while the boys each received a little tractor (previous Woot! purchase). I did put one piece of candy in each bag ... a ring pop. I found cute little board books to give to the babies.

Thinking that most of the kids would be at their grandparents this weekend, I gave out the Easter bags last weekend. The kids LOVED them!! Their little faces bright with delight!!

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?

Well, that's a bit tricky. See, we do a lot of stuff with your vote, using it to work out the popularity of what you voted for, compare that to all the other things voted on, tally up our leaderboard, work out your reputation.
