This one below is 7.1 instead of 5.1, not sure if that maters.

Good reviews, its on sale for $49.99 down from $120, it is refurbished but comes with a 1 year extended warranty.

4.1 / 5 stars on amazon, sells for roughly the same price there but is not refurbished.


Have you considered a usb sound card? I was going to turn a dell 2800 into a PC and use the USB for sound. It could not do the windows 7 aero engine and the PCIe video cards cost too much to be worth it.

The Asus Xonar is fairly cheap and works great. I think they go for about $30 on Amazon
