Did you know the Capital of Kentucky isn't pronounced Louisville or Loueeville?
It's pronounced Frankfort.
There are plenty of states where the capital city isn't the largest or most well-known city. Memorizing state capitals in third grade really helped me learn that.
I legit just laughed, haha. :)
That is a funny way to spell it...
I see what you did there...
Kentucky has TWO cities?
@samstag: i lol'd.
@samstag: WE DO?!?!?! Wow. This changes everything...
@captainsuperdawg: False alarm. I just looked up Frankfort and apparently it's more like a largish village.
@samstag: It's a pretty good size for KY. Went there for a field trip one time. It's not as big as Louisville, Lexington, or even Bowling Green, but it's a decent enough size.
I missed that question. I thought the capital of Kentucky was "K".
I went to fort knox for boot camp and armor school. I hate Kentucky. The state bird is a frigging mosquito, it's the only place where you can have a blizzard one day and the next day it's 95 degrees with 6,000% humidity and a tornado comes along and puts a car on your roof. When that car is inspected, it's got a 6 foot frickin snake in it. I hate Kentucky.
@kamikazeken: It's got its ups and downs. Weather's not the best, but it's not terrible. It just seems bad because outsiders can only handle one or the other and then moan and groan when it doesn't suit them. Also, I don't know where all you were in KY, but mosquitoes aren't that big of a problem around where I live.
