Talk to your financial institution (whichever one issues your card). They should be able to get the holds lifted.

I have reached out to the merchant. They are looking into this issue.

@jsimsace: Oh yeah.

Talked to their customer support and was told that "they will fall off in a few days." Oh, thank you oh-so-much for putting a few hundred bucks of mine on hold for me, I'm so grateful you'll give it back when you're ready! (I know, it's when the bank is ready to release is after they realize that there isn't a valid sale, blah blah)

I just had the same kind of issue with 1saleaday.com. We orderd a set of CD's and DVD's for our child and the first time we hit submit payment, it got an error saying to try again in a few minutes. We werent too sure about that but still went through with it to see what would happen in a few minutes. Well finally the payment went through on thier site and we checked the account on 1saleaday.com and it said we only had one item orderd. The next morning, my husband looked at our bank account and we had TWO payments from them pending. I called the bank and there are definetly two order numbers attatched to our account so it is NOT a duplicate. The bank cant do anything until they stop pending. Now I have to wait to see if they answer the number that was attatched to the transaction in an hr and a half.... Hopefully I get somewhere soon!

@srschmidt2008: The extra pending charges did eventually come off, for me. It just took several days. Neither the bank, nor 1saleaday could/would do anything about those. So, I just make sure I'm careful when ordering through them. Good luck!
