Put in a chargeback with your credit card or a paypal claim.

I also recently had a less than satisfactory first experience with this merchant. ZERO customer service, multiple ignored requests and inquiries. I will not buy anything from them again.

I opted to keep the card and get the coupon code for their site. I was able to contact them via e-mail and get the code. (After they conveniently "forgot"). But now, when I go to purchase an item, there is nowhere for me to put the code. Hmm. Guess it's back to their shotty customer service.

I got the $8 coupon. But, since then, it seems like everything they are selling is real expensive and $8 off is not enough for me to spend the money. I haven't even tried figuring out where to enter the code.

In what way was it fake? Wrong brand, wrong GB? Also, was it a sponsored deal on here, or one that someone posted? I really hope you guys get refunded or directed where to use the coupon code. :-/

why do so many people avoid using one of the few great services offered by credit card companies? (dispute the charge)
You get the money credited back to your account almost immediately, and the credit card company takes care of all the dealings with the company.

it's SOOO much easier than doing a paypal dispute

@kamikazeken: thanks for the advice, I already disputed the charge but the merchant has 30 days from date of return to process the refund so the dispute is pending. Dailysteals finally responded to my emails of foul language and said they processed the refund. I cant understand why anyone kept the card and took the discount code. If they screwed you once, why roll the dice again? They were selling this as a Sandisk card but said they made a mistake and shipped generic cards instead. If it was a mistake, they should have been able to reship to everyone the correct Sandisk cards. They clearly lied and cheated and since they couldn't make good on it, ill never spend a dime on their site. SCUMBAGS!!

@wvutkep1002: The reason is that the card did work just fine and the credit offered was equal to the purchase price. As long as the credit works then there was nothing lost. I have ordered a half dozen or so items from them and had zero problems prior to this.

My experience with them has been really really great.

I have ordered from them like 20 times and generally been happy with every purchase.

Especially the friday deals with Free shipping.

Sometimes the shipping is annoying because it is like $5 for a $5 item.
