I sense captcha is on the horizon for comments, unless something is done?

This question you make very good sense to me much.
:)
PLZ NO. I already waste enough time on this site
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
@jyelle: me appreciate sense you give faintly, vaguely, largely to the degree that I smile big in happiness
@a.priori.eureka: Much welcome have you. Does these shoes might you be interested?
@jyelle: did you just propose to me in Lebanese?
lol no.
I seriously hope they don't do catchpas -- I hate those things. More than I hate counterfeit shoe spammers.
@jyelle: wait? Are the shoes counterfeit or are the spammers?
Maybe we could do audio captcha and we could all say the words that are written.
It would take an immense amount of cloud storage but that's what apple's icloud is there for.
Or maybe amazon.
@a.priori.eureka: then there could also be hillarious audio out-takes.
And instead of a bag of crap, we could get a huge audio file that sounds like a thousands cats in heat pelted by old shoes and rotten tomatoes
screw that. I wouldn't mind captcha on deal posts though.
at least captcha on users with either 0 woot purchases or same-day (24 hour window) registration.
but that wouldn't prevent actual people posting, just bots right? if they're actual people clicking and copy/pasting, they can still enter the captcha
I'm all for captchas at this point. Didn't realize I was responding to a likely would-be spammer until after the fact. It is ruining the questions section.
