Ok, thank you for the elaboration @snapster.

sorry for being confusing - yes I mean that the activity guide needle indicators are not tuned yet, but when they are tuned/fixed we'll be rewarding people who do correct actions.

also, there is some data table rebuilding going on that may be causing some history chaos.

@lll0228: He's not sure what's wrong with it, but it's not site critical at the moment, so they're putting it off.
I'm not sure that's what what he said meant, but I think it's what he meant it to mean.

@snapster: I am not sure I understand what you wrote.

Game and non-game mechanics? Could you elaborate please?

@sgoman5674: Whenever you do something that merits change (someone votes for your deal/question/comment/answer, etc.) they stick you in the queue for an update. Then they compute as they can. Time since last update is on your dashboard, and ranking changes as others get updated because it's based on scores.

At least that's what I've gathered.

That might also explain how more than one person can have 100% because with relative scoring it shouldn't be possible.

@snapster: How often do the "spedometers" get updated?

keep acting sane - if the game mechanics are broken we'll adjust at slightly lower priority than the non-game mechanics.
