Wrapped with tape and lots of love (LOTS of tape!)
Dearest Winkin', Blinkin' and Nod,
I just wanted to let you know you three have touched me beyond measure. The best part of Offal is probably the heart. You guys have certainly shown yours. I laughed over it all. Those stickers! Just like Fourth grade all over again. Wish I had a Trapper Keeper to stick them to!
Loved the map, it will come in handy soon. I'll have to hide the playing cards from my eldest. Laughed at the Lockheed pen. Funny, we have NONE at the house. Hubs has always been in favor of nukes. That nuke pen will work for him.
Key chain has been eyed my #1 son as has the can/bottle cozy. He's an Florida fan so the colors work for him.
I can't wait to play with my paper dollies, although youngest child & I may scan and copy to card stock in order to preserve the book. It's great & I hope we can actually make them move.
Best of all was the pocket diary from 1943 complete with entries. The maps alone make it wonderful.
Thank you for sending this on. You're the best!

For the rest of you wondering what this is all about...
Offal #1 went off track somewhere along the way a few weeks ago. It seemed all way lost with no recovery in sight. I knew when I shipped the original box that it might happen, but the glass is half full in my life.
@theflounder stepped in to rescue the day filling a brand new box, Offal #1.1, I guess we should call it, & got it back on track. Unfortunately, as cool as the new stuff is, it changed the outcome of what was eventually supposed to come back my way.
That's where Winkin', Blinkin' and Nod stepped in a tried to make up for it by sending me a few goofy things. The package arrived today in a heart covered envelope and LOTS of tape! I love that tape & hated to cut thru it.
I just wanted to let them know the gesture was much appreciated and belies my husband's belief that no good deed go unpunished. I believe in Karma. Put out good and it comes back to you. I did & it came back with lots of love.
Thank you, girls!
And I really need to amend that thanks to girls and guy. Big hugs all around!
@lavikinga: Hey, not all of us were girls, kiddo. [Yeah, I saw your comment just now.]
I love that tape. Which reminds me, I need to make a donation to the EFF this year. @UncleFrog has seen that tape, too. They're used to me laughing about taping things up at the post office, but they still laughed at this package. Perhaps I got a bit carried away. I probably should save some of it, because the new stuff isn't as loud.

Tell the Mister that good is its own reward.
I am a genuine Karma Delivery Machine (although usually it's bad karma I'm rewarding).
@lavikinga: Awesomesauce!
@shrdlu: That tape was a scream. Initially, I was distracted by the shear amount of tape on the box, then I started reading it. Good stuff. I also got quite the stare when I took it in to send off to @debbiedunlap. Maybe that was what prompted the 'What exactly do you have in there?' question.
@lavikinga: that was nice, but we need to see pictures.
So glad someone has rewarded @lavikinga for all her hard work on the traveling BOC's. I would have loved to add something to that, to thank her myself. Actually I'd like to thank all of you Deals.Woot veterans, for your humor and intelligence. It's nice to know there are people like you out there.
@lavikinga: According to son #2 - interwebs policy, post pics or it didn't happen. Pictures of the tape, please. And a big THANK YOU for putting the BoO together, it's been really fun.
@theoneill555: Actually, ma'am, the photographs provided by Mr Frog do show a glimpse of the tape. In this picture, there is a tantalizing view of the amazing fourth amendment tape.
@jamesbondqbranch: Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I saw the picture of Froggy's box, but completely missed the fact that the tape had writing on it.
My boys are always telling me that I don't pay attention.
@theoneill555: With boys, sometimes that can be a blessing in disguise.
Hubs made me pitch the tape. Said I was not allowed to keep it because the next thing he knew I'd be washing and saving foil. I already save bows, ribbons and gift bags.
(And what's wrong with saving foil, I ask you? It comes in handy for making emergency ray-blocking hats. Must admit my this http://www.imdb.com/media/rm833329408/tt0286106 is my all-time favorite style.)
@lavikinga: Mine actually does save foil and when I find it, I throw it away (irritates him to no end).
BTW he is from a little town about 20 miles north of Hershey, PA and he says that those foil hats are Hershey street light hats (the wrapped ones of course).

nice......guess what I am eating.......nom nom nom
@theoneill555: That's an adorable thing for them to do. I've never been to Hershey. Guess I should drive on over when I'm up that way next summer.
@hobbit: Chocolate for dinner??? Wash it down with a nice red wine. Have to get some fruit in some way!
@lavikinga: sigh no.....it was a package from Germany.
@hobbit: Gummi Bears??
@lavikinga: yes.... although they aren't the brand I really requested. They are Haribo
@hobbit: I hear they get really warm and soft if you keep them in your pocket.
@lavikinga: they are already soft or SAFT actually, why do I want them warm?
@lavikinga: OK, that does it. Who do I talk to about a name change? ;) This has gone too far I tell ya!
In all seriousness, I only wish I could have added a little more to the box. What I first received from you was, in a word, AWESOME. All the thought that you put into it, well, it was a real treat to open. :)
So, Thank you for taking the first step and getting it all started. :)
@claudicina: I'm sorry, sweetie. You will always remain in my heart and mind (and @hobbit's too) as "Claudia" no matter how much of a studmuffin you may be ;) You'll adjust and realize it's fun being "one of the girls!"
@hobbit: It's a Ferris Bueller reference.
@claudicina: pet name for you will always be Claudia, of course some people might think I am being rude.
@lavikinga: The whole freaking' town smells like chocolate. Chocolate World is free and has a ride that takes you through the Hershey chocolate process and at the end they give you some chocolate. If you are into amusement parks, they have one of those, too (they have a roller coaster that allows you to drop water on the people walking below you, of course, they are allowed to shoot back).
@lavikinga: But you never know when ribbons, bows, and gift bags will come in handy!! Yes, that's my logic for keeping all sorts of random things (I am a bit of a pack rat).
Hooray for karma, though - you've got it coming for setting the whole BoO up! But I hope you will have pictures to share at some point... :D
@angstangel: I'm planning on taking lots of photos when Offal #1 makes its way back home...and then throw more stuff into the box and send it off to the folks on Offal #2 list, IF any one else wants to continue.
@lavikinga: sounds good, although that means Claudia gets it like three times so he can redeem himself. BTW I emailed you.
@hobbit: I'll never take it as rude. I honestly never noticed what it looked like until it was pointed out to me on here... I have since created a new email address, and am in the process of switching everything over!
@hobbit: And "Claudia" has the hairiest darned legs too!
@hobbit: I might need to get a second job if this keeps going around! Just to afford the shipping!
@lavikinga: Well, I think we've got a few takers, at least! I am certainly interested, and IIRC, @jazcat has mentioned wanting to continue as well. I guess that discussion will probably have to wait until we actually finish these first tracks, though...
@lavikinga: Funny you mentioned my legs. I actually had two of the women that work at my local laundromat tell me I had nice legs. Weirdest compliment I've ever received!
@claudicina: watch out, they might turn into stalkers
@claudicina: wait you didn't know that was lavikinga and me?
@claudicina: I don't think men realize they're checked out by women from head to toe too. I definitely appreciate a man with nice legs, among other things.
@hobbit: how do you feel about a little Tom Selleck in the morning?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5QeuyF3-Lg VERY nice legs.
@lavikinga: hmmmmm why did they always look dorky in the shorts? I am partial to my irish lads in their kilts. http://www.youtube.com/user/TheThunderTube#p/c/DF23338D9F668778/22/D0KZjmiL7xs
@lavikinga: Maybe I oughta post a pic... ;)
@lavikinga: Hooray! The box has arrived at @maisyday's house!

I wanted to keep it moving right along, so I've already shipped it to @thegiant42!
Can't wait to get the box :)
Also wish there was an easier way of keeping track.
