Did you know you can hover over your username to see your square and triangle now?

This did not work immediately after the woot upgrade but it is now.

Seems the numbers don't match what is in the leaderboard but at least the woot staff has listened to our suggestions and made it possible to see that information without having to click on the link.

I think it's running on the non-deals Woot! idea, because I'm showing a purple triangle and a 94 rep, whereas I've got a 93 rep and a black triangle.

This has to be new as of today. I am fairly certain I checked yesterday to see if they added it back yet, and it wasn't there.

Wrong color and 95 is a wrong number unless that will be my future number...
I also now have 2 (Quality ?) posts that I didn't have before... Profound maybe but Quality is questionable...

@lotsofgoats: To get the upper one to update, you need to re-login.
The same was true in the past, but it didn't have the number up there so it came up less frequently.

But it didn't do that when I tried it just now...guess I'm wrong...

My triangle is broken though. It's been stuck on 36 and a red triangle for the past two weeks even though I'm at 75 and a green triangle. Only way for me to check the real number is the leaderboards.

My top triangle is purple -- maybe that's because the freakin' background is black, and my black triangle would be sort of invisible up there?

At any rate, the lower triangle and rep score is correct.

We restrict voting to users who have purchased something from one of the other Woot stores. It's not just because we want your money (which we do) - it's the best way to be sure all the votes are coming from real people and not spam-bots or phony accounts. Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?

See, we do a lot of stuff with your vote, using it to work out the popularity of what you voted for, compare that to all the other things voted on, tally up our leaderboard, work out your reputation. Someday we'll do a little cartoon showing just how hard your vote is working.
