If you want the ability of 4-12oz then I think the platinum is the only one available with that option. Personally, I think 12oz is too much water for the size of the k-cup, some varieties filled with 10z can be weak (especially the flavored cups). I really couldn't see using 4oz either, but that's just me. The only models available with a water line built in are the commercial systems and you need to contact Keurig directly to have those as it's only available through an authorized distributor.

I'm betting for standard domestic use the Special Edition would be the best option or even their base model, but this only gives 8oz and 10oz options.
