Hollywood is most definitely too interested in sequels, BUT I have to admit I might enjoy seeing MIB III. :)

I am almost as excited about Madagascar 3 as my two kids. :) MIB is also on my radar for the oh-so-infrequent date night with my husband.

Technically, those aren't all sequels. Spider-man, for example, would be a reboot. Or, as I'd call it: "different s!@#, same smell".

"I know Men in Black II was horrible, but the third installment can't be worse, can it?"

The official song is not by Will Smith, but rather someone named pitbull. Also Tommy Lee is largely absent and replaced by a younger actor.

You listen to this song (Back in Time) and tell me the movie will be good

I will probably see all of those. I don't know if Avengers can really be called a sequel. It's the culmination of a lot of other movies feeding into it. My friends and I are stoked about it, but then I spent many years reading comics and the Avengers were one of my mainstays. Marvel has done a pretty credible job of realizing these characters for the big screen (with inexplicable trouble breathing life into the Hulk), and I am looking forward to seeing them bring these disparate individuals together and tell a story that honors them all. At least I hope that's what we get. I'm afraid the other characters may end up sacrificed to Iron Man's popularity and Robert Downey's charisma. But I have my fingers crossed. We are also excited about Expendables 2 and GI Joe 2. I love muscle guys and action films, kicking butt and making things go boom. Despite being female and over 50, I am the popcorn demographic.

the only two i would be interested in are Dark Night rises and the new Bourne movie.

I'm definitely looking forward to The Avengers...which is kinda a sequel, but not exactly in the traditional sense, as it's a sequel to a bunch of movies rather than just one. Plus, Joss Whedon got to both write and direct it and I trust that he's done an amazing job with it. (Yes, I am a JossWhedonFanGirl and I'm not ashamed to say it.).

I'm also looking forward to the new Dark Knight movie. I haven't read much about it yet, but the last two were very good and very well done. I have high hopes for this one as well.

Everything else I'm much less interested in and might watch once it hits Redbox, or once it hits cable and I happen to catch part of it at the gym and then go and find it at Redbox or borrow from a friend.

I liked MIB2 because it had so much of Frank the Pug in it. (Apparently Jones was not available for early filming and they stuck the pug in most scenes with Smith). I hope Frank will be back for MIB3, but I haven't been able to find any indications he'll be in this one. Anyone know about Frank the Pug's role in this next one?

I can't wait for the Dark Knight Rises. If it's anywhere near as good as the first two I'll be happy.

@axphw1: I am hoping MIB3 (or MIIIB?) will be good, but also doubt it will be. However, I wouldn't dismiss Josh Brolin as just "a younger actor." I know he doesn't come close to Tommy Lee Jones, but he's pretty well established in his own right.
