Ok, one part of a two part deal I posted expired, but it's still considered a good deal. What now?
The whole deal has not expired, and I was told it was still a good deal, even though the price has gone back up to it's original price.
I know what to do when the price keeps dropping on a deal, but what should the course of action be for this situation?
Expire the deal, and repost the non-expired part with a brief update. Problem solved.
@okham:I get that, but I'm not on here all the time, I like to post deals that I think are really good when I have the time, but keeping up with them is sometimes not possible.
I've noticed that deals I've posted that were expired, were still getting upvotes and comments as good deals even though the price had changed some, and they had not been expired by the community yet.
Some of these were still good deals on products I buy. I personally would still buy them at the higher price if I still considered it a good deal.
When I see a deal I posted that the price has changed enough that I don't think is still a good deal anymore, I expire it immediately.
I just wanted to see what the general consensus was with this and what everyone thought about it.
@107bear: What you would think is a still a good deal, others may think is not such a good deal. I personally don't care if it is a few dollars, but some people do. But where do you draw the line...$5? $10? $15?
Another course of action would be to tattle on the deal and have the Woot staff change the price. I have never done this though.
