Depends... at the German place we usually go, we tend to get a round or two of the beer special as appetizer (one or two depends on whether the beer special is a 1/2-liter or full liter). Then we each usually get one of the wurst specials with a side, plus an extra order of fries for the table.

When we go out for lunch at one of the bars near work, we usually get wings, onion rings and potato skins in mass quantities, but that's as the meal, not just the appetizer.

Buffalo wings, but so many places don't make them well. For a general rule, garlic fries or fried peppers. Yum.

Loaded chili cheese fries or bacon cheese fries. Don't like them swimming though. The fries still need to be crispy. With melted cheese, not cheese sauce -- too messy and not as much flavor.

Nachos are great but get soggy too quickly. Wings are too messy to eat, and usually too spicy for me.

Mozzarella sticks if they are breaded, not battered. And come with a good marinara sauce.

I consider bacon cheddar potato skins more of a mini-meal than a munchie. Yummy!

My kids love the flaming cheese at the Greek restaurant. Not really for the taste, but for the show factor.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
