When I post two deals within a few minutes, why does only the second appear in the "Fresh" tab?

Recently I've posted two deals within a few minutes of each other (Rome on DVD and Blu-Ray a few days ago and Buffy and Angel DVD box sets just now). Both times only the second deal I've posted shows up in the "Fresh" tab when I sort by "Most Recent". Does anyone know why this happens?
Is this some sort of measure to prevent spammers from filling up the tab?
What's the rough time needed between deals so that they will both show up?

I saw those. If you post more than one deal from a single site within 24 hours, they collapse into the most recent. Click the "show more" at the bottom of your deal and the other will pop up. Hope this helps.

@okham: Thanks! I see the "show more" tab. And thanks for the heads-up about it being multiple deals from the same site within 24 hours.

I think it's original intent was to add a variety of deals/slow down spammers, but sometimes like in your case I wish there was a better way.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
