Challenge: Bluetooth Mouse + Receiver

My media PC is working great has a remote control quad tuners large tv quad cores CPU etc ….

Anyway I have been using a wireless mouse but it seems the range from the couch is a bit shy of what’s necessary so its constantly ghosting out on me

I just need it for occasional mouse work on off switch is preferred but from my reading Bluetooth seems to double the range on a mouse to 30ft so that should resolve my issues

Hoping for mouse plus receiver for less than 40

I’m assuming I will need a USB receiver for the Bluetooth as the custom PC does not do Bluetooth

Have you considered just running a USB extension for the mouse's receiver? It'll bring it nearer, and is a cheaper solution.
