Is the Windows 7 multitouch mouse worthwhile?

I finally got a new laptop with Windows 7, and have seen ads and deals for the Microsoft Touch Mouse here and there. Is this thing worthwhile?

Context: I've had the laptop for 2-3 weeks now, and have yet to use any of the multitouch trackpad functions, even though I mostly know what they are.
