Digital Camera Search - Need Help
I have about $50 (not including shipping) to get a point & shoot digi camera. I'm not looking for anything fancy (obviously), but hoping for something that doesn't feel disposable. Really don't want Hannah Montana or some other garbage on it either. Looking for the most bang for my buck. Anyone have any recommendations and/or links to help me out? Thanks all :)

Google is useful for that: http://www.google.com/products?q=Digital+Camera&oe=UTF-8&show=dd&lnk=pruser&price1=0&price2=50
@hobbit: yes, thanks for that hot tip. I was hoping for someone with a bit of knowledge on digital cameras to weigh in. ya know, some helpful hints, tips. oh well...
@smtatertot13: I have knowledge but you only want to spend 50.00 those are your options.
@smtatertot13: You are asking for the impossible. You'l like to spend an amount which will get you a toy, but you'd like to get something that isn't. Only you can know how much you're willing to give up, and what things are must haves, in a situation like this. Personally, I'd be looking at craigslist and local pawn shops. No, not kidding.
Sometimes things cost more money than we want to spend, and there are choices to be made. When I was younger, I often chose to skip lunch when I was saving money for something I wanted. Another person might have given up beer, or fast food. Sometimes things are beyond our means, too. Happens.
@hobbit: Of those listed on Google products I would go with that digital SLR for only $6. I know it's only the camera body, but maybe @smtatertot13 can use the remaining $44 on a lens.
:)
i didn't set a hard line at $50, was simply setting it as a guideline. i know i am asking for a minor miracle, but i've always received/seen positive & helpful answers from the deals.woot folks, even if the answer was a polite "you won't be able to find something for that price. perhaps you should look in the price range of...". I'll take my camera search to somewhere more suited for such a question. Thanks for the help.
@smtatertot13: If you seriously want a decent digital camera you are going to want to spend more like 150.00. Because 50.00 will not get you very much at all that doesn't feel like a disposable camera.
@shawnmiller: So that SLR body is a good deal? I saw that and was intrigued. But I wrote it off since it didn't have a lens, I know what my 35mm lens cost me, it cost twice as much as the body.
[edit] I think that part might be miss named if you go to the website it says something else entirely.
Heh. I just saw this question a day ago and was going to suggest looking for a Kodak digital camera, as they tend to be cheaper with acceptable quality for the price. Now there's a brand new Kodak for $50 on Woot. I'm guessing you won't find a better brand new camera for $50 very easily. Personally, I'd probably be looking for a used one for $50. But used prices on fleabay are usually all over the place, so I can't recommend a specific one that normally goes for that price, and people on Craigslist around me must be on crack or just plain stupid based on how much they ask for things. Crack wouldn't really surprise me, being around Detroit... Then again, neither would stupid though. And no... that's not meant to be a racist comment.
