Is advanced search working?
I tried to search for a question that involved the tag #bold. While in the field to type the tag for "or", a drop down box appeared and showed that there were three questions with that particular tag in it. I clicked search and came up with no results. I tried this in Chrome and IE8 with the same thing occurring.
My initial reason for my search is that the comment count on the question shows as bold even after I checked the questions for new comments. It used to unbold after opening up the question and then going back to the question list. I hope I am being clear enough for the programmers can understand me.

I finally worked through your question and can duplicate it in Chrome. It seems like it is showing the 3 results for the word Bold but then it won't show the results. I am guessing that is because the #bold tag was used over in the Deals section, I was there before I moved over to the question section, so there is something with the tag #bold, just not a Question.
It does seem like an issue since I wouldn't expect those quick results if they really don't apply.
@jazcat: So let me get this straight, the tags are for deals and not questions? If that is the case, then that is an issue.
Yes, if I go over to Advanced Search in the Deals area and type bold into the Tags - All of these tags section I get that same dropdown with "bold (3 deals)" displayed. Clicking on search gets me the 3 deals here, http://deals.woot.com/deals/search?q=%23bold&sort=bestmatch.
Sorry to ruin your weekend plans but, @josefresno can you take a look at this please.
We think showing the item count in tag auto-completion is important because we want to help you identify the correct "tag synonym" as agreed upon by the community. In other words, members should be able to discover if the community is throwing its support behind the #tv tag instead of the #television tag.
The bug stems from our desire to encourage cross-pollination between deals and questions. If members are asking a lot of questions about TVs, we still want them to discover on the "ask the community" side that the #tv tag is the way to go.
We'll look into fixing the bug to make sure the advanced search shows the appropriate counts in tag auto-completion.
our desire to encourage cross-pollination between deals and questions
What would that cross pollination produce? Would it be a destion or a qual?
