I'll post some up as a deal.

This is the kind I use. The price is good on this deal, I usually pay around $10.00 for one of this size.

@faughtey: im seeing mixed reviews on this, saying it only sprays 2 feet :/ thoughts?

vote-for5vote-against

@drsilentg: They should spray 6 feet. It may have been clogged if it only sprayed two. After looking at the reviews of that seller, you may want to buy from someone else. I got mine from Citizen's Against Crime, and there are other places to get this brand.

I'm not sure if anyone has thought about this or if it'd even work as a deterrent, but since you need to be trained to properly use pepper spray effectively, wouldn't it be cool if they could just develop the nastiest, most vomit inducing stink bomb type spray and or grenade or something and simply use that when you're threatened to incapacitate somebody. I dunno, I'd imagine if you were a potential victim, you'd see it coming and if you were a criminal, you wouldn't wanna hang around. I dunno, I fully admit that it might be the stupidest idea I've ever shared on woot.

On the woot front page it showed only the subject of this discussion. For a moment, it looked as if you wanted to get a girlfriend by using pepper spray :-)

I bought mine two. The one shown above and the one I'll post as a deal.

Both seem decent to me. Though I've never had to use them and neither has she.

Though benefit of the magnum it did come with two. So you can keep one or put one in her purse and the other in her glove box or something.

Or just buy this and no one will ever mess with her again.

@kamikazeken: I put that sh*t on everything too lol

I swore this post said "what's the best way to pepper spray my girlfriend."

I'm just like, "you could just break up with her instead."

Might look at a late posting for Bear Pepper Spray? Might shot further and more volume.
I have used PS once in chasing a guy who robbed one of my stores. It is really hard to use effectively unless all parties are standing still. But it is better than nothing. I got him in the side of the face and it caused him to fall off the fence he was climbing and broke his leg. So to some extent it did work for my purpose.
Funny thing, crime stopped in our stores for a long while after that. Now if it was only legal to spray employees who steal from the cash drawer.

And PS: Yes I also had a gun on me. But the crook had not shown a weapon, so I did not feel the need to draw on him and deal w/all that BS from the cops.

The kind you are immune to.

I got pepper-spray for my wife... and she'd never carry it. Said it was too big to fit in her purse. Take her to self-defense classes instead! Or just let her practice kicking you in the groin.

What is she most allergic to?

I picked mine up at a military supply store. The one I have is SABRE brand but the best is it has blue dye so you tag your attacker. As long as she's not colorblind I'm pretty sure she can pick the Smurf out of the police lineup. Try a military surplus store. They have tons of different kinds there.

@miggychunt: Hey, maybe she's into that sort of thing...

@adk969: In a lot of states if you shoot someone who's retreating then you're in for a world of trouble. Much better that you didn't use the firearm.

Spitfire makes a great little sprayer that you won't set off accidentially, but is intuitive to use if it's ever needed. Canisters are replaceable, it can be pulled off a keychain easily if needed (say the keys are in the ignition of the car), and it sprays in a straight line (no worries about having it at the wrong angle and not hitting your target - or yourself). About $20 for the whole unit and refills are $10. You can take the spray canister out of the housing and test it periodically to see if you need a new one by checking if it sinks or floats. I love mine.

pepper sprays are so easy to use and they're small. i like mine on a keychain which i got from www.platinumsecurityproducts.com. they got all kinds and sizes.

I would recommend you this here: http://goo.gl/c4RuR differently than with the normal pepper spray here can no pressure loss appear. It functions anyway when it depends on it.

I was once the victim of an assault and believe me it was absolutely terrifying. Since then I've been looking at some self defense weapons to help myself stay safe. I'm telling you people, you don't want to have this happen to you so carry pepper spray if you have to. I've been looking around and choosing which one is the best one and I decided to go with fox labs. This site has a comparison chart if you need that http://bestpepperspray.net/
Stay safe people and self defense is your right!

As far as key chains go, I would recommend the Wildfire 18%, or the Pepper shot 10%. Both are sold here : http://asecuredefense.com/pepper-spray/key-chain-pepper-sprays.html
I carry one of the pepper shots with me on my key chain.
However, The BEST in my personal opinion is either
1. A Pepper Spray Gun like this one : http://asecuredefense.com/pepper-spray/pepper-spray-guns.html
2. A 2oz. Fox Flip top (cone fog) pepper spray like this one : http://asecuredefense.com/pepper-spray/pepper-spray-by-manufacture/fox-pepper-spray/fox-pepper-spray-2-oz-2-oc-5-3mm-uv-flip-top.html
