I do it all the time.. for instance the NewEgg (NewCustomer10 promo) that was offered last year was $10 off your "first order".. so I made a new account everytime I bought something from them. Which had a different e-mail address/account but the same credit card/shipping/etc.

I've also made several accounts for Savelogy (for the $2 sign on bonus) etc. While some sites might do checks beyond just the account name. I haven't run into any as of yet.

Hah thanks for ... endorsing? my deal. I don't usually return for seconds unless there is a great deal to be had. It's very easy to spoof the system some places though. The google period and plus sign tricks are just one way of gaming the system.

@devexityspace: hmm i didn't know there's a $2 signup bonus. i'd definitely game the system for that! :-D

same restriction, new customers only. i guess i'll just jump in and attempt to buy any of the "first time customer only" deals i want

Really depends on the company.

I know when I ordered some checks that they defined a First-Time customer as "not having ordered checks for a checking account previously", thus I used the First-Time customer deal to reorder checks for 2 separate accounts (separate transactions, of course).
