Anyone have trouble with browser crashing when they scroll (not click) over the "woot" home button?

Yes, I submitted this to the beta comments section. When I scroll over the "woot" home button to click my browser's back button (NOT to click on the home screen) my browser (Safari) often crashes. It wasn't doing this at all before the new changes. Anyone else having this difficulty?

No problems here. Scrolled through all the sites to see if anything bad happens. What browser do you use?

Safari. Have an older Mac but it's as updated as it will go (OS 10.5). No problems on other sites. (Ok, no apple bashing! lol)

Edit: Just realized it happens when I scroll over any of the top menu bar items, not just the woot home button.

Have you tried Firefox? My sister also has a PowerPC MAC and uses Firefox with no problems. She had a lot of problems with Safari on the same OS release you're using. I think Firefox 3 is as high as you can go, but it's pretty stable.

@tbgolladay: I've used both browsers, but haven't used firefox recently. Don't want to have to change browsers if it's only on woot, which it seems to be. We'll see what happens as they tweak things. I just wondered if anyone else had this issue, as I see a number of people are having 'issues". Yes, we have issues. ;-)

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
