The deals posted here are completely unpredictable. I can't see Woot ever setting up an alert system to notify possibly over 100,000 users (according to the triangle stats) of a deal they are waiting for. Most would probably have more than one. See this previous question for other answers.

My answer would be to use IFTTT and use the Rss Feed for sponsored deals

And have it send me an email every time a new one would be posted which would generate 5 emails at midnight central.

Through Woot, no. As has been mentioned, the sponsored deals are somewhat random. I think the RSS suggestion is probably your best bet. However, many of the sponsored deals come from the same sources. Next time you see a cigar deal, bookmark the website the deal comes from. I believe one or two of them exclusively deal with cigars, so you could check there on a somewhat regular basis instead of checking deals.woot and having it be a crapshoot. If there is a certain cigar you want and that site has a watchlist, you're set. I think there's a way to use camelcamelcamel or another similar service with non-Amazon sites as well.

Can't help you on Woot but if you'll go to Slickdeals, you can add an alert for Cigars and they will email you when a deal is added. I searched for "cigars" and got 555 deal hits.
