the cheap brands of pizza use miniscule pepperoni pieces. have you seen a totino's lately? you can barely tell what is supposed to be meat.

I think that's what Totino's is aiming for.

I think Hormel makes mini pepperoni. Make your own pizza!

@musicalman: you said you wanted small, not good.

@inkycatz: Those are good. I like their turkey pepperoni.

I used to work at a Ledo's pizza and there, each slice of pizza had one piece of pepperoni. They were small square slices and the pepperonis were arranged so that each slice had one pepperoni on it. It made the pizza look more uniform but it was probably significantly less pepperoni than other places put on the same size pizza.

@moosezilla: I have no problem with Totino's mystery meat. There is a Totino's pizza in my freezer right now.

I don't care how the pepperoni is, as long as it taste good.

Totino's is the bomb. I have at least one a week. Quick, easy, tasty. Plus I always add all sorts of stuff to them. More pepperoni, ham, salami, mushrooms, cheese. Whatever!

@musicalman: It's not just mystery meat it's artificial cheese, too.

My family's favorite pizzeria uses crumbled meats on their pizza and completely covers the pizza. All the way to the edge. I think I know what's for dinner tonight.

@benyust2: Along those lines is why places use the bigger slice of pepperoni, it is very visual so you feel like you get more. If places used the chopped pepperoni, the pizza would like like it had barely any meat on it even though you are getting more for your dollar.

I like pieces cut bigger because i like each bite to taste a bit different. This bite is pepperoni, the next is onion, the next italian sausage. I miss having the pepperoni on top, though, instead of under the cheese. I liked it when it got crispy around the edges.
